Description of Port Authority BG205 / #BG205
The laptop compartment on this backpack is checkpoint-friendly. It unzips flat like a clamshell, so you can leave your laptop in the bag at airport security. If you've ever held up the line wrestling a computer out of an overstuffed backpack, you get why that matters. The compartment is padded and fits most 15" laptops, and there's room for a tablet too.
The rest of the bag is just as organized. The front panel has spots for your phone, business cards and pens, there's a fan-file divider inside for paperwork, and a soft, tricot-lined zippered pocket keeps your keys and sunglasses from scratching each other up. It's made from 1,680-denier ballistic polyester, which is a tough, thick fabric that's made to get knocked around.
Your shoulders will thank you too. The straps and back are padded, and a strap on the back slides over the handle of a rolling suitcase, so you can let the backpack ride along through the terminal. If you'd like a matching set, the Commuter Brief (BG307) is made to go with it.
